Song Il-gook will act as Jumong’s grandson, Moo-hyul in the new drama “The Kingdom of the Winds”. He will be his return to historical drama after two years. The kingdom of the Winds is a remake of a comic by Kim Jin.
Song Il-gook was deciding between this and a present-day drama, but he chose Kingdom in the end. A representative of the drama said, “It is fate that Song Il-gook gets to play Jumong’s grandson as well. We went through many actors, but Song Il-gook is the right person for this role.
I actually like historical drama alot, especially Jumong. Even though Jumong was very long with 81 episodes, the plot was not draggy even till the end of the drama. Nice to see Song Il-gook coming back to historical drama. I will be looking forward to this drama and hope to see more news coming out.
