MBC’s “Spotlight” was overtaken by “Women of The Sun” in yesterday’s airing. The viewership rating of “Spotlight” dropped to 8.5% while “Women of The Sun” rose to 10.3% according to TNS Media .

This came as a surprise as it is the first time “Spotlight” took the last place in the wed/thurs drama war after maintaining the second spot for a long time. It seems like the change in screenwriter did affect the plot and hence results in this drop.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “Iljimae” continues to soar in ratings to 24.6%. Based on the trend, it will not be long before Iljimae breaks the 30% mark.
